Getting Started with Orderline Install Orderline from the Shopify App Store, open your production Orders view, and set up statuses, ship-by, and columns for made-to-order work.
The Orderline orders view — line items, images, and customizations Use Orderline’s Orders screen to see product images, line items, and customer customizations in one list—without clicking into every Shopify order.
Custom production statuses in Orderline Create nested production statuses, manage order and draft workflows, and move orders through stages on the Orderline orders screen.
Order deadlines (ship-by date) Ship-by dates show when each order should leave, with urgency on the Orders list. Choose by shipping method, by product, or set dates yourself.
Fulfill, hold, unhold, and cancel from Orderline Mark orders as fulfilled, on hold, release holds, or cancel from the Orderline Orders screen—actions sync to Shopify, including partial line-item fulfillment.
Ship-by dates (manual) Set ship-by yourself on orders—one at a time, in bulk, or from Shopify Flow via the orderline.ship_by metafield—then sort and prioritize by urgency.
Ship-by dates by product Set different ship-by lead times per product—rings in a few days, furniture in two weeks—and let Orderline use the latest deadline on multi-product orders.
Ship-by dates by shipping method Calculate ship-by from order date and lead time (in days) per shipping method—plus a store default for unmatched rates—with urgency on the Orders list.
Custom order table columns Show, hide, and reorder Orders columns—and add fields from custom attributes, addresses, order note, or definition-based order metafields. Optionally make columns filterable for views.
Custom order views and filters Narrow your Orders list to the work you care about—today’s deliveries, one sales channel, a product name—and save that setup as a view you can reopen anytime.
Draft orders in Orderline Manage Shopify draft orders on Orderline’s Drafts board—statuses for quotes and invoices, send invoices, and convert drafts to production orders.
Staff access and location permissions in Orderline Invite team members, limit them to a location, and control who can manage statuses, drafts, and audit logs.
Internal production notes Add private, staff-only notes to orders in Orderline—separate from the customer’s Shopify note—and print them on packing slips when needed.
